Nineteen20 cricket !

This week marks the 50th anniversary of a historic moment in cricket . The 1956 ashes series between England and Australia (who else ?) was tied 1-1 after the 3rd test. The 4th test began at Manchester's Old Trafford on 26th July.
If 26th July has put a fear in the minds of Mumbaikars because of last year's downpour, then it was Englands off spinner Jim Laker who did the same to the Australian batsmen.
Laker took 19 wickets in the match to demolish the Australian batting. He had figures of 9 for 37 in the first innings and 10 for 56 in the second ! This is one record which is unlikely to be broken !
